All organized excursions (such as helicopter tours, shark diving, and surfing) are run by experienced, licensed providers who follow established safety standards and monitor conditions closely. While outdoor activities, helicopter flights, and swimming with wildlife always carry a small level of inherent risk, they are generally considered safe when conducted under proper conditions.

Please note that hiking activities are self-guided, allowing us to explore at our own pace. Some trails may be narrow or at higher elevations, so a general comfort with heights and uneven terrain is recommended. Participation in hikes is at your own discretion and responsibility.

All activities are completely optional and on your own risk, yet you are free to choose what feels right for you.

Hawaii’s weather can occasionally be unpredictable, and certain activities—especially helicopter tours and ocean-based experiences—are dependent on safe conditions.

If weather impacts an excursion, the local operators will make adjustments as needed. This may include rescheduling to a different time or day, or offering an alternative where possible.

For hikes, as they are self-guided, we have full flexibility to adjust our plans based on the weather. Yet we might have some surprise rain showers. We recommend bringing a rain jacket and good hiking shoes.

No! You don’t need a diving license or prior freediving experience. We’ll teach you the basics you need, and all experiences can be enjoyed just by snorkeling at the surface, so you don’t have to dive deep if you don’t want to. 

The only thing you do need is to be a confident swimmer, and you'll have an amazing time in the water.

Hawaii is part of the United States, so the same entry requirements apply as for the U.S. mainland.

For most EU, Australia, New Zealand etc. travelers you can enter the U.S. for tourism without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program. However, you will need:

•  A valid biometric passport (valid for at least 6 months after the trip dates)
•  An approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before departure 
•  You can not stay more than 90 days
•  A return or onward ticket 

The ESTA must be applied for online in advance (ideally at least 72 hours before travel) and is typically valid for up to two years.

Please note that having an approved ESTA allows you to travel to the U.S., but the final decision on entry is made by border officials upon arrival.

If you are not eligible for ESTA (for example due to certain travel history or longer stays), you will need to apply for a visa instead.

We'll gladly help you with your ESTA or Visa application.

Refunds can be requested until 1st August 2026.

Please note that the deposit of USD500 is non-refundable. That also applies to canceling before the full booking payment has been made.

After 1st August, cancellations are unfortunately not possible. 

You can always try to go over your travel insurance to receive a full refund.

Yes. You can always extend your stay on your own or arrive prior to the group trip dates, to make the most out of your vacation or to fit the flight schedule better. Simply inform us about your plans and we'll help you organize your own stay, if wanted.
